A solo exhibition of illustrations by Lancashire-based illustrator Gareth Monger.

Palaeoart is the artistic reconstruction of organisms from the fossil record, and includes organsims from as far back as the origin of life on Earth, to more popular (and much more recent) animals such as dinosaurs.

The exhibition launches at 5.30pm on Thursday, 9th May, and runs until 20th June.

The illustrator's recent palaeoart-themed book 'A Disarray Of Palaeoart' will be on sale, along with other non-palaeo books, and prints.

John, David and their artisan bakers are producing a very special 'one of a kind' cake especially for the occasion, so even if the exhibition is not your thing, Fine wine with a slice of cake might be good enough reason to pop in, enjoy the company , taste the cake and just generally have a good time.
