Arrested ReDevelopment aims to Create, Promote and Advocate for the Independent Arts Sector on the Fylde Coast, provide community based arts education for all ages, and devise and produce arts based projects, exhibitions, festivals and opportunities for members of the arts sector.

Arrested ReDevelopment is a community based arts organisation that began in 2014 and was started out of a frustration at the lack of opportunities afforded to independent creative people in Blackpool and on the Fylde coast. We wish to give these people the opportunity to work and exhibit in the public domain, and through education and workshops run in partnership with creative youth charity Creatives Arts & Futures, give people of all backgrounds and ages a chance to learn new skills.

The creative community will benefit through the opportunity to be involved with projects which will give them a chance to engage with the public, particularly groups who have previously not had a platform on which to do this, such as older people who have never found an outlet for their creativity, and young artists looking for their first opportunity to be involved in creative projects. Through volunteering or exhibiting we hope to give as wide and diverse group as possible the opportunity to be involved in creative projects.
